TRS Staffing Solutions has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Planner/Scheduler to work on our clients’ large-scale project. This position will be responsible for driving schedule performance, supporting project execution teams, and ensuring that planning processes provide timely and accurate information for decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.
This is a long term contract position that requires working on site in Northern BC following a two weeks on/two weeks off rotational schedule.
Prepare and schedule performance reports, dashboards, and presentations for project leadership.
Develop and maintain project schedules covering engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
Coordinate schedule integration across multiple contractors, project teams, and functional disciplines.
Provide planning expertise and guidance to project controls and delivery teams.
Monitor project progress and collaborate with stakeholders to address schedule risks, constraints, and resource challenges.
Establish schedule baselines, progress measurements, and change control processes to support accurate project forecasting.
Facilitate short-term and look-ahead planning activities to improve execution efficiency and schedule reliability.
Perform path reviews, schedule analysis, and scenario planning to identify potential impacts to project delivery.
Preform additional tasks as required.
Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum 15 years of experience in project planning and scheduling on large-scale capital projects within mining, industrial, or infrastructure environments.
Experience in mining and processing plants projects is required.
Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6 and other scheduling or project controls software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex project data.
Ability to work effectively in fast-paced project settings.
Experience developing and managing integrated schedules across multiple contractors and project disciplines.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in multi-disciplinary environments.
