The ideal candidate has 8+ years of project management experience in large-scale construction, strong leadership, and a solid grasp of scheduling, cost control, and procurement.

Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Eligibility for professional registration with a recognized engineering or technical association.
  • 8+ years of project management experience in large-scale construction, infrastructure, or industrial environments.

Responsibilities

Job Function Project Manager

TRS Staffing is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our clients growing team. This position offers the opportunity to manage challenging and high-profile work while collaborating with experienced teams in a safety-focused, results-driven environment. The successful candidate will bring strong leadership capabilities, sound commercial judgment, and a proven track record of delivering complex projects on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities:

  • Guide and mentor project personnel, fostering professional growth and high-performance project teams.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate the allocation of workforce, equipment, materials, and operational resources to maximize project efficiency.
  • Support field operations by providing strategic direction and helping resolve technical, operational, and construction challenges.
  • Develop and maintain detailed execution plans and schedules to achieve project objectives while meeting safety, quality, and delivery targets.
  • Lead contract administration activities, including reviewing agreements, managing changes in scope, and addressing contractual matters.
  • Direct the full lifecycle of complex infrastructure and civil construction projects, ensuring successful execution from initial planning through project closeout.
  • Oversee project budgets, forecasting activities, cost controls, and financial reporting to support strong commercial performance.
  • Preform additional tasks as required.

Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Eligibility for professional registration with a recognized engineering or technical association.
  • Minimum 8+ years of project management experience within large-scale construction, infrastructure, or industrial environments.
  • Demonstrated success leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and external service providers.
  • Strong understanding of project scheduling, project controls, and execution planning methodologies.
  • Experience managing contracts, procurement activities, commercial risk, and change management processes.
  • Solid background in cost management, budgeting, forecasting, and overall project financial oversight.
  • Proven ability to prepare, review, and manage project documentation, schedules, purchase orders, and progress reporting.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software platforms.
  • Valid driver's license.
