Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Canada seeks a Senior Scheduler/Planner with a strong infra program background and 8+ years post-graduate experience to drive planning across complex projects.

You will establish scheduling frameworks, develop master schedules, optimize CPM calendars, manage risk and performance metrics, and support delay analysis and claims review in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• A recognized relevant university degree is beneficial.
• A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in project controls, time/schedule management and project management.
• Extensive experience scheduling with Primavera P6 and OPC.
• Experience in Infrastructure Real Property projects and programs.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain the project planning and scheduling framework, including procedures, baseline governance, reporting cycles, and schedule control metrics/KPIs.
• Develop and maintain the WBS/CBS, baseline schedule, and integrated Master Schedule using inputs from designers, the CM, and contractors.
• Prepare phasing and work package strategies aligned with the procurement strategy and key project interfaces.
• Develop and optimize CPM schedules, and review third-party schedules for logic, critical path, risk, and overall reasonableness.
• Define progress measurement methods, implement Earned Value Management, verify progress reporting, and issue the monthly integrated controls report.
• Monitor schedule performance, assess variances to baseline, maintain schedule records, and recommend recovery or mitigation actions.
• Assess schedule impacts of changes, maintain time-impact and supporting records, and support delay analysis, claims review, and dispute resolution.
• Support integrated risk management, conduct site visits as required to validate progress, and contribute to continuous improvement of planning and controls processes.

Who are you?

You are an experienced Senior Scheduler/Planner with infrastructure program experience a minimum of 8 years post-graduate experience looking for the next step or are currently undertaking a similar role in a similar environment.

The base salary range for this full-time role is $98,000.00 - $148,000.00per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package. Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate’s experience and qualifications.
