Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist – Planning & Scheduling to join our PMCM Water team in Burnaby, BC. As the owner’s scheduling lead for a large infrastructure program, you will manage the Integrated Master Schedule in Primavera P6, coordinating with consultants, contractors, and third parties to deliver on time and within budget.

You will develop cost-loaded IMS, perform progress analyses, and provide executive-ready reports and recovery plans.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of planning and scheduling on major construction programs.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft 365.
• Experience in integrated project controls and schedule assurance.
• English language proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Create, manage, and oversee the Integrated Master Schedule in Primavera P6.
• Govern consultant and contractor baseline and current schedules.
• Collaborate with project teams to maintain IMS integrity.
• Lead schedule reviews and mentor junior planners.
• Provide schedule risk and performance analyses for leadership.
• Develop recovery strategies and cost-loading coordination.
