Job summary

Archdiocese of Vancouver is seeking a Senior Planned Giving Officer to cultivate relationships with donors, steward planned giving prospects, and coordinate communications and events that strengthen parish communities. The role emphasizes trust, discretion, and mission-driven philanthropy within the Catholic community in Vancouver.

You will manage donor profiles in Salesforce, support legacy programs, and collaborate with parish leadership.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience in fundraising, donor relations, nonprofit administration, or related field.
• Experience using Salesforce or another CRM is an asset.
• Education in related fields preferred; equivalent combination considered.

Responsibilities

• Grow donor relations and stewardship for planned giving prospects and donors.
• Coordinate donor communications, meetings, and follow-up activities.
• Administer and grow the Catholic Legacy Society.
• Maintain donor records and gift intentions in CRM.
• Prepare donation reports, presentations, and stewardship materials.
• Plan seminars, workshops, and donor engagement events.
• Represent the Archdiocese at donor and community events.
• Conduct donor research and prepare briefing materials for leadership.
