Job summary
World Vision Canada in Mississauga, Ontario, is seeking a Legacy Giving Advisor to engage a portfolio of legacy donors, identify and cultivate gifts, and guide supporters through the legacy giving journey.
Reporting to the Manager, Legacy, you will develop planned giving strategies, collaborate with internal teams, oversee life insurance policies, and craft communications. A degree and extensive fundraising experience are required.
Qualifications
- University degree or equivalent in a relevant field or related fundraising experience.
- Demonstrated success in donor relations and multi-stakeholder engagement.
- Knowledge of planned giving and legacy programs is an asset.
- Strong ability to build and sustain donor pipelines and moves management.
- Experience with CRM systems and data analysis.
Responsibilities
- Strategic development of planned giving programs and portfolio planning.
- Identify, cultivate and solicit gifts from legacy donors and prospects.
- Guide supporters through the legacy giving journey and options.
- Share knowledge on planned giving with internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain a donor portfolio and lead moves management activities.
- Oversee administration of life insurance policies and related materials.
