Merriam Music Inc. is seeking a high-energy sales professional to engage piano clients, educate them on products and services, and facilitate purchases both in-showroom and online.
The role emphasizes learning the market, maintaining expert product knowledge, and contributing to a collaborative team across three GTA locations. A strong sales track record and comfort with instruments are preferred.

1. Serve new & existing piano clients, educating them on our products and services, identifying enticing opportunities for them to purchase, and facilitating in the fulfilment process. Customers may be served in‑person and virtually, including physically in a showroom, by phone, by SMS, email, at various promotional events, and online chat and social media.
2. Learn about, and maintain an expert‑level knowledge of the marketplace, both products and competitors
3. Provide floor coverage at any of our 3 locations as needed; however salespeople would always have a home‑base where the majority of their time was focused. We currently operate 3 GTA locations, in Oakville, Vaughan, and Toronto.
4. Participate in professional development, training, and team meetings, some of which may take place outside of standard shift times.
5. Adhere to company processes, procedures, approaches and general sales philosophies, as well as use tools and systems as provided.
The compensation structure includes both base salary in addition to performance‑based commission. Successful candidates have the ability to earn between $90,000 - $130,000+ per year depending on performance level.
The schedule includes a blended schedule included day shifts, evening shifts and consistent weekends, based out of our Toronto location (943 Eglinton Ave East), ideally with flexibility to go to our other two GTA locations as needed. This is an on‑site and in‑person role with little to no options to work remotely from home.
