Job summary

YWCA Calgary seeks an Associate Director, Philanthropy & Development to lead fundraising strategy and revenue growth. You will manage donor relationships, oversee campaigns, and collaborate across teams to advance the organization’s philanthropic goals.

The role requires senior fundraising experience, strategic leadership, and a commitment to equity-centered practice to strengthen donor pipelines and sustainable income.

Qualifications

• Seven to ten years of fundraising experience with senior leadership.
• Proven multi-channel fundraising strategy development.
• Experience managing donor and prospect relationships and moves management.
• Strong financial acumen and budgeting experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop short- and long-term fundraising plans aligned with strategy.
• Lead integrated fundraising programs across annual giving, major gifts, grants and events.
• Maintain donor portfolio and cultivate supporters.
• Ensure ethical fundraising practices and donor-centered principles.
• Collaborate with VP and CEO on donor relations and proposals.
