Job summary

TD Canada Trust in Calgary is seeking a Senior Personal Banker – Home Borrowing Trainee to deliver tailored financial advice and support customers in achieving their home ownership goals.

You will leverage deep knowledge of Real Estate Secured Lending products, investing, and day-to-day banking to promote TD solutions, gather customer needs, and refer to specialists as required. Strong communication and outreach are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and/or Post-Secondary or Undergraduate degree preferred.
• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Investment Funds in Canada (IFC) accreditation or equivalent within 90 days of start date.
• Certificate in Financial Services Advice (CFSA) within 6 months of start date.
• Trainee Mobility – willing to relocate within assigned region.

Responsibilities

• Provide sound financial planning advice to promote customer loyalty and investment returns.
• Create a consistent, exceptional customer experience with home borrowing focus.
• Maintain knowledge of local market, TD products, policies, and procedures.
• Engage in proactive outreach to discuss portfolio updates and opportunities.
