Job summary

HOOPP in Toronto, Canada is seeking a technically minded Investment Reporting Analyst to support HOOPP’s P&L system (Ortec Pearl) and related data warehousing and reporting processes.

You will work with investment data, configure and reconcile production systems, and develop automated reports using Qlik, Python, Snowflake, Excel, Power BI, SAP Hana. Collaboration across IT and Front/Middle/Back Offices is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a business-focused technical role within the Investment industry.
• Experience configuring and maintaining middle office systems, including SQL, spreadsheets and database apps.
• Experience developing reports using BI tools (Qlik, Power BI) and data modeling.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor P&L system jobs and downstream processes; troubleshoot and re-execute as needed.
• Analyze data quality and govern production data for official releases.
• Configure, maintain and test P&L systems across environments.
• Build cross-functional reports and automation using Qlik, Python, Snowflake, Excel, Power BI.
• Understand HOOPP portfolio structures and investment data flows.
• Assist in data architecture decisions for Investment Reporting and Governance.
• Design automated data quality monitoring and exception handling.
• Coordinate with IT/IDM to deliver aligned solutions and validate deliverables.
