Job summary

Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP) seeks a senior technical lead to operate HOOPP's P&L system (Ortec Pearl), manage data warehousing, and deliver automated investment reporting. You will work with IT, front, middle and back offices to ensure data quality and scalable analytics.

The role requires deep investment data understanding, strong SQL and BI skills, and mentoring ability within the Performance Systems team. Office-based in Toronto with inclusion and learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in a business-focused technical role in investment industry.
• 5+ years configuring middle office systems with SQL and databases.
• Experience with BI tools and reporting; strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead operation of HOOPP's P&L system (Ortec Pearl) across environments.
• Coordinate data flows, warehousing, and automated reporting solutions.
• Validate calculations and ensure data accuracy for reports.
• Mentor Analysts within the Performance Systems team.
• Collaborate with IT, Front/Middle/Back Offices on cross-functional projects.
• Support data architecture decisions related to investment reporting.
