Job summary

CoLab Software is seeking a People Business Partner to scale our HR function across R&D and cross-border teams. You’ll own onboarding, benefits, performance cycles, and compensation logistics, while supporting recruitment and employee experience. This role rewards autonomy and ownership in a fast-growth, remote-friendly startup.

You’ll collaborate with leaders to ensure compliant practices, clear guidance on policies, and a people-first culture that helps engineers and teams thrive as we grow.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in a People Ops, HRBP, or similar role.
• Experience with onboarding, benefits, and compliance workflows.
• Strong organizational skills and self-management.
• Clear written and verbal communication with attention to detail.
• Experience interpreting employment law and standards.

Responsibilities

• Own core people operations: onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, performance and compliance.
• Partner with managers as trusted advisor on team performance and employee relations.
• Lead or support performance reviews, total rewards, and policy updates; assist payroll as needed.
• Answer day-to-day employee questions and provide policy guidance.
• Support PR/work permit coordination and documentation.
• Assist recruitment logistics and coordinate with the Employee Experience Lead on events.
