Job summary

TELUS Health is seeking a seasoned pension configuration specialist to analyze Defined Benefit plan rules and translate them into precise software specifications. You will bridge clients and the project team, configuring software to match complex calculation rules across North America.

The role involves drafting specs, ensuring system integration, and supporting QA to guarantee accurate pension outcomes. Occasional travel to Canada/US is required.

Qualifications

• University degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics or finance.
• 5+ years of Defined Benefit pension administration, consulting and/or implementation.
• Strong ability to understand current computer technologies and Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed analysis of clients' Defined Benefit pension plan calculation rules.
• Act as the link between client and project team for pension plan calculations.
• Configure in-house software to suit client pension plans.
• Write specifications for new software developments per client needs.
• Ensure integration of software with other client systems.
