TELUS Health is seeking a Senior Pension Calculation Analyst to identify test scenarios for retirement calculations, execute tests with our software, verify results, and track anomalies. You will gain expertise in Canadian and American pension markets across North America through varied implementation projects.

Qualifications

• Education: University degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics or finance.
• Continuing education in actuarial science (asset).
• 4 years of relevant experience in Canadian pension plan administration.
• Experience in verification of pension plan calculations or pension plan implementation.
• Proficiency in pension calculation tools.
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps or similar job management tool (asset).
• Fluency in English and French (written and verbal).
• Excel VBA programming skills (asset).
• Strong organizational skills.
• Strong problem-solving ability.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.
• Effective priority management.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with functional leaders, business analysts to have a clear understanding of the scope of testing.
• Analyzes technical documents to identify required test scenarios.
• Executes and verifies the calculation results of the test scenarios, reports anomalies.
• Keeps the test suite up-to-date with new features added or changes to existing features.
• Participates in team meetings and calculation review sessions.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams for problem solving.
• Contributes to the continuous improvement of verification processes.
