Job summary
TELUS Health in Canada seeks a seasoned functional lead for retirement benefits implementation to guide defined benefit pension plan administration. You will lead a team of business analysts and calculation verifiers, overseeing configuration of the benefit calculation engine and delivering client-centric solutions across North America.
Fluency in French and English, 7+ years in defined benefit plans, and strong project management are required.
Qualifications
- University degree in actuarial science, mathematics, project management, or any relevant field.
- 7+ years of experience in defined benefit pension plans.
- Experience with Canadian and/or American pension plans.
- Experience in retirement benefit calculation engine configuration.
- Fluency in French and English (oral and written).
- Proficiency in Excel; willingness to travel to Canada/USA.
Responsibilities
- Represent the benefit calculation implementation team to project management.
- Determine and manage the priorities of their implementation team.
- Plan deliverables considering the project scope.
- Identify risks and issues proactively.
- Be responsible for pension plan rules analysis documents.
- Provide technical support and supervise configuration of the engine.
- Position as calculation engine expert in implementations.
- Support data conversion and data collection with technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with product development team and improve processes.
