We are seeking a skilled Pega Administrator to manage, support, and optimize our Pega BPM environment. This role is vital for ensuring the stability, scalability, and performance of our business-critical applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, infrastructure, and business stakeholders to ensure the Pega platform operates smoothly and securely.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer, maintain, and monitor the Pega platform including installation, patching, upgrades, and configurations.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of Pega-based applications.
- Collaborate with developers and solution architects to support deployments and troubleshoot issues.
- Automate routine administration tasks through shell scripting or other tools.
- Manage security settings, user roles, and access controls within the Pega environment.
- Perform root cause analysis of platform-level incidents and implement preventive measures.
- Support integration of Pega with other systems using REST, SOAP, MQ, TCP, HTTP.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for system monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Maintain detailed documentation for configurations, procedures, and platform changes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience with Pega BPM.
- 2+ years in a Pega Administrator role or similar platform support role.
- Experience with Pega application development.
- Proficiency with Linux administration and shell scripting.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database interactions.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency in integration technologies such as SOAP, REST, MQ, TCP, and HTTP.
Preferred / Desired Skills
- Familiarity with Agile, SDLC, CI / CD pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with Java and / or Python.
- Experience using Git and managing code through pull request workflows.
- Exposure to DevOps practices and infrastructure-as-code is a plus.
