AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Paralegal to join the Nuclear Legal Affairs team in Canada. You will support commercial, regulatory, IP, governance and legal operations across major nuclear projects. This role offers collaboration with lawyers, project executives, procurement professionals and engineers in a regulated industry.

Qualifications

• Paralegal Diploma, Law Clerk Diploma or equivalent legal education.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience as a paralegal or legal professional.
• Experience in-house or in a complex commercial environment preferred.
• Strong experience reviewing, organizing and managing legal and commercial documentation.
• Ability to manage confidential and commercially sensitive information.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 apps: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support legal counsel in preparing, reviewing, executing and administering commercial agreements.
• Maintain contract repositories and legal document management systems.
• Track key contractual obligations, milestone dates, renewals, warranties and notices.
• Prepare contract summaries, obligation trackers and issue logs.
• Coordinate execution of agreements and maintain records.
• Support project teams on major project documentation and contract administration.
• Assist with IP records and technology licensing matters.
• Support regulatory compliance, governance and internal investigations.
