Senior Paid Media Strategist (Remote in Ontario or Quebec)

Job Description

OpenMoves is seeking a Senior Paid Media Strategist to join our digital agency. OpenMoves is a performance marketing agency that provides Paid Media services to clients in the USA and around the world. OpenMoves is owned by Ionik and sits alongside a number of sister agencies including Q1Media.

The Senior Paid Media Strategist role is focused on Google Ads management and the ideal candidate is a veteran Google Ads media buyer with a sophisticated understanding of modern Google Ads strategies, tracking and marketing technology, reporting and optimization. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of GA4 and will have experience managing other platforms such as Meta Ads and LinkedIn ads.

The Senior Paid Media Strategist ideally has experience in project management and project leadership, driving client accounts to success, and working proactively as a leader in paid media teams.

The ideal candidate has at least 10 years of experience in media buying, at least 5 years of recent experience in a hands-on-keyboard Google Ads role, at least 5 years of experience in digital agencies, and some expertise with GA4, CRM integrations for paid media, Google Tag Manager, Meta Ads, LinkedIn ads, and client reporting.

This is a client-facing role and the ideal candidate will be strong at presenting to clients, managing client relationships, and acting in a project leadership role for client engagements.

Job Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Create effective reports for clients
  • Manage data and tracking environments with CRMs, Pixels and more
  • Lead calls and relationships with clients
  • Lead projects in collaboration with other team members
  • Stay at the cutting edge of modern Google Ads / Paid Media strategies
  • Manage media on other channels as needed such as Meta and LinkedIn
  • Contribute to OpenMoves’ team knowledge as a subject matter expert

Requirements :

  • Strong background on marketing technology implementations / integrations
