Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years directly related experience in optical firmware testing.
• Strong Python automation scripting and test framework knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Gatekeeper for Nokia optical firmware validation and interoperability.
• Develop and execute CMIS-compliant test strategies for coherent modules.
• Analyze test reports and reproduce customer field issues.
• Provide on-site support for the Ottawa lab 3+ days/week.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve testing workflows.
• Document procedures and results for knowledge sharing.
