We are seeking a seasoned Senior Manager, Operations to lead and optimize day-to-day operations within a CIRO-regulated investment dealer. This role is ideal for a driven individual with deep experience in operation, regulatory processing environments, and managing cross-functional projects and system conversions. You will play a critical role in ensuring operational continuity, compliance, and strategic execution across both business-as-usual (BAU) and transformation initiatives. And be willing to promote the organization’s cultural focus on an elevated client-centric servicing proposition.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Lead and manage core operational functions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with IIROC / CIRO standards.
• Develop and implement best-in-class operational processes, procedures, and controls.
• Act as the operations lead for major initiatives, including platform conversions, and integrations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, compliance, finance, vendor partners) to scope, plan, and execute projects.
• Monitor key milestones, mitigate risks, and ensure successful delivery with minimal impact to BAU.
• Ensure operational processes align with CIRO regulatory requirements and internal risk frameworks.
• Partner with senior leadership to communicate project updates, risk escalations, and operational trends.
• Serve as the key point of contact for escalations related to operational service delivery and project transitions.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, automation, and client experience.
• Lead change initiatives that enhance operational scalability and service excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• 7–10+ years of experience in financial services operations, preferably within a CIRO-regulated dealer.
• Proven track record managing operational teams and delivering complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
• Demonstrated experience with back-office platforms (e.g., Dataphile, Broadridge, ) and system conversions.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements under CIRO / IIROC.
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
• Strategic thinker with a hands-on, solution-oriented approach.
• Ability to lead through influence in a matrixed or dynamic environment.
• Calm under pressure with strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Resilient, adaptable, and passionate about operational excellence.
