Job summary

BDC, the only bank dedicated exclusively to Canadian entrepreneurs, seeks a Senior Analyst, Operational Risk Management to support ORM programs across the organization. You will strengthen governance, controls, and reporting in collaboration with first- and second-line teams.

This role emphasizes developing risk methodologies, leveraging data and AI capabilities, and presenting insights to senior leaders. Fluency in French and English and strong Excel/reporting skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or an equivalent field.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills with proficiency in Excel.
• Fluency in French and English, verbal and written, and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Support ORM programs (RCSA, KRI, ORE, NPBI) for first- and second-line stakeholders.
• Critically review risk assessments and control environments.
• Lead data collection, analysis, and risk reporting for senior management.
• Design and enhance ORM methodologies, tools, and training.
