Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience as an Account Manager in the banking sector.
• Knowledge of banking products, services, policies, processes, and procedures.
• Experience reviewing financial statements and conducting financial analysis.
• Ability to evaluate complex financial structures.
• Experience assessing credit risk and/or risk ratings.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Demonstrated adaptability in a changing business environment.
• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
• Bilingualism in French and English.

Responsibilities

• Manage outstanding file-related requirements ensuring documentation is complete and signatures obtained.
• Complete annual portfolio reviews by assessing profitability and monitoring borrowing activity.
• Review financial statements, perform financial analysis, and assess client risk ratings.
• Identify and actively manage potential risk situations to minimize losses.
• Evaluate complex and high-risk service requests and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Authorize, decline, or recommend loan amendments within established authorities.
• Collaborate with Credit, Business Development teams and internal stakeholders to deliver solutions.
• Coach, mentor, and share expertise with team members.
• Monitor regional economic trends and their impact on clients and portfolio performance.
