Job Summary

This role supports the execution of the Wealth Management Technology IT change and Incident Management process and operational risk management (ORM) in line with the Tech Currency strategy within WMT. The successful candidate will join our WM OPS Risk and Resilience team within the WM IT Risk umbrella.

The candidate should have an advanced understanding of IT & Operational risk management practices, providing control and advisory services to application development, support teams, and the Wealth Management Business. Services include IT & operational risk analysis, risk awareness & advisory, risk & compliance reporting, and audit & regulatory response.

Job Description

What will you do?

• Drive IT Change management processes such as approvals, Local CAB, and represent WM in Enterprise CAB sessions.
• Identify reporting improvements in the Change Management module within the ITSM tool (ServiceNow).
• Review change management process and procedural documents established by the Enterprise Change Management body.
• Collaborate with and coach business unit personnel on change management processes to ensure adherence to established procedures.
• Identify, assess, and recommend treatments for IT & Operational risks, focusing on technology currency.
• Monitor and report on technology currency risk management activities.
• Manage the security exemptions acceptance workflow from initiation to completion.
• Build relationships across business units to influence and impact key partners, ensuring initiatives are integrated into RBC procedures and processes.

What do you need to succeed? Must-have:

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role with IT and operational risk management processes.
• Strong understanding of ITSM and ITIL Change Management practices.
• Results-oriented, deadline-driven, with high-quality standards.
• Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

Nice to have:

• CRISC, CISSP, or CISA certifications.
• Knowledge of GRC tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Archer).
• Change Management or ITSM certification.
• Knowledge of Wealth Management/Financial Services industry.
