WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

This role supports the execution of the Wealth Management Technology IT change and Incident Management process and execution of operational risk management (ORM) in line with Tech Currency strategy within WMT. The successful candidate will join our WM OPS Risk and Resilience team within the umbrella of WM IT Risk.

Job Summary

Individual contributor with advanced understanding of IT & Operational risk management practices, providing control and advisory services to application development, support teams, and the Wealth Management Business. Services include IT & operational risk analysis, risk awareness & advisory, risk & compliance exposure reporting, and audit & regulatory response.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Drive IT Change management process including approval, Local CAB, and representing WM in Enterprise CAB sessions.
• Identify reporting improvements in the Change Management module within the ITSM tool (ServiceNow).
• Review process and procedural documents on change management established by the Enterprise Change Management body.
• Coach business teams on change management processes to ensure adherence to established procedures.
• Identify, assess, and recommend treatments for IT & Operational risks, focusing on technology currency; report and monitor technology currency risk.
• Manage security exemptions acceptance workflow from start to finish.
• Contribute to IT & Operational risk awareness programs and advise WMTS on risk matters.
• Build relationships across units to influence and integrate initiatives into RBC procedures.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

Must have:

• Strong understanding of ITIL Change Management.
• 3+ years in IT and operational risk management processes and tools.
• Knowledge of technology and/or financial services industry.
• Results-driven with high-quality standards and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.

Nice-to-have:

• CRISC, CISSP, or CISA certifications.
• Knowledge of GRC tools like ServiceNow, Archer.
• Experience in Wealth Management/Financial Services industry.
