Job summary

Kleinfelder is seeking a Senior Construction Materials & Inspection Technologist (C.E.T. / P. Tech.) to oversee field and laboratory testing, inspection activities, and QA/QC programs on an Edmonton-area project.

The role involves multi-discipline responsibilities in soils, concrete, and aggregates, and supports the Engineer of Record under regulatory guidelines. The ideal candidate will hold a C.E.T. or P.Tech., CCIL certification(s), and have leadership experience supervising junior

Qualifications

• Must have senior-level inspection leadership experience.
• CCIL certifications in multi-discipline areas are required.
• C.E.T. or P.Tech. designation is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee field testing and inspection activities across soils, concrete, and aggregates.
• Coordinate with contractors, project teams, and client representatives to align inspection activities with construction sequencing.
• Review and validate field and laboratory data for accuracy and compliance; prepare detailed reports.
