Job summary

Eclipse Automation in Cambridge, ON, is seeking a Senior NVIDIA Omniverse Developer to design, build, test, and scale Omniverse-based tools for industrial automation. You will work hands-on with Python, C++, OpenUSD, and Omniverse Kit to deliver production-ready software that connects 3D environments to real engineering data.

Qualifications

  • Proven hands-on experience with NVIDIA Omniverse, Omniverse Kit, OpenUSD, Isaac Sim, or similar platforms.
  • Strong Python development skills for maintainable applications and automation.
  • Strong C++ development capability for high-performance components.
  • Practical understanding of OpenUSD concepts and USD workflows.
  • Experience building developer-facing or user-facing tools and plugins.

Responsibilities

  • Build Omniverse Kit applications and extensions for production use.
  • Advance OpenUSD foundations with schemas and asset conventions.
  • Develop engineering data connectors to integrate with internal systems.
  • Support simulation and virtual commissioning workflows.
  • Create Omniverse-based digital twins of equipment and layouts.
  • Develop UI/UX for engineering users to access tools effectively.
  • Enable XR workflows for spatial reviews and training scenarios.
  • Integrate robotics data, PLC concepts, and industrial protocols where needed.
  • Create reusable patterns, libraries, and documentation patterns.
  • Prototype, validate, and mature new capabilities into production.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ship tools.
  • Document technical guidance to grow internal Omniverse capability.
