Job summary

Temporal Technologies is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Infrastructure Team focused on Observability, impacting both internal and customer-facing tooling. You will own design, implementation, and deployment of scalable, multi-component systems that power Temporal's core platforms and developer productivity.

You will lead design reviews, collaborate across teams, and contribute to monitoring and reliability improvements, while participating in on-call rotations as needed.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to design horizontally scalable, resilient distributed systems in production.
• Experience building and supporting observability pipelines and related tooling.
• Expert in Go with strong Kubernetes skills and SQL query development.
• Hands-on cloud experience with AWS or GCP and a solid grasp of systems architecture.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end software development lifecycle including requirements, design, implementation, deployment, and maintenance.
• Formulate feature designs, gather feedback, and drive consensus with stakeholders.
• Document design choices and operational knowledge for successful deployment and operation.
• Provide test coverage and production readiness assessment for your features.
