Job summary
Accommodations Plus International (API) is seeking a senior engineer to own the design, integration, and administration of our AWS-based observability toolchain (Datadog, JSM, and xMatters). You will drive automation and AI-assisted workflows to reduce manual effort and improve operational reliability.
As the technical owner, you will lead the evolution across Incident, Change, and Problem Management, ensure SLAs and cybersecurity requirements are met, and collaborate with product, development,
Qualifications
- 5+ years in ITSM/ITIL toolchain integration.
- 5+ years supporting Incident, Change, and Problem Management.
- 5+ years in Platform/CI/CD/SRE/Observability.
- Hands-on with Atlassian JSM/JIRA, Datadog, and xMatters.
- Strong proficiency with Java, REST APIs, JSON.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement complex workflows between Datadog, JSM, and xMatters for Incident/Change/Problem Management.
- Develop automation using Python, PowerShell, Unix scripts, and REST APIs.
- Administer Datadog, JSM, and xMatters ensuring uptime and security.
- Collaborate with product, development, QA, and support to meet operational needs.
- Own observability toolchain uptime, incidents, and patching.
