Job summary

AtkinsRéalis Group is seeking an experienced Senior Feeder Piping Analyst/Engineer to join our Mississauga-based team. You will perform advanced piping analysis, prepare technical documentation, and support life extension projects for CANDU reactors, using tools like ANSYS Mechanical, LS-DYNA, PipeStress, and AutoPIPE.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, communicate with clients, and guide junior staff while ensuring compliance with ASME BPVC and CSA standards.

Qualifications

• Must hold an Engineering Degree in Mechanical from an accredited university or equivalent recognized by PEO.
• Must be a Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario or eligible soon.
• 8–10 years of mechanical engineering experience in heavy industrial sectors (nuclear preferred).
• Experience with stress analysis of piping and pressure boundary components (dead weight, thermal, fatigue, seismic).
• Familiarity with CSA N285.0, CSA B51, CSA N289, and BPVC Section III is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering work following QA programs and applicable codes.
• Analyze piping, supports, and inline components using FEA tools (ANSYS, LS-DYNA).
• Prepare design/analysis reports and technical specifications.
• Engage with clients and suppliers to resolve technical queries.
• Lead small or large teams of designers and stress analysts when needed.
• Support field construction, commissioning, and site walks.
