Job summary

SaskPower seeks a Senior Licensing Engineer to lead regulatory and licensing activities for Saskatchewan's first nuclear facility. You will oversee licensing strategy, safety case development, and compliance programs in collaboration with engineering, project delivery, and CNSC requirements.

The role requires extensive regulatory experience, strong leadership, and the ability to coordinate cross-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and a P.Eng. designation are required.
• Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible experience in nuclear safety analysis, regulatory affairs, or nuclear operations.
• Experience supporting regulatory submissions to CNSC, U.S. NRC, or equivalent regulators is required.
• Experience with CSA N-Series quality and management system frameworks is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead licensing strategy and regulatory leadership for Saskatchewan's first nuclear facility.
• Develop and maintain safety case throughout design, construction, commissioning and operation.
• Coordinate licensing inputs across safety and control areas and review analyses for licensing impact.
• Act as primary technical contact with regulators and lead stakeholder engagements.
