Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an experienced engineer to advance the nuclear instrumentation and control (I&C) program. You will work within QA frameworks to design, specify, and document I&C systems, while coordinating with clients and suppliers to ensure regulatory compliance and quality deliverables.

The role requires a professional engineer registered in Ontario, 7–12 years’ experience, and a readiness to engage in field walk-downs and project execution within a nuclear environment.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree and PEO-registered professional engineer status.
• Excellent communication and technical writing skills.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
• Proven problem-solving capabilities and practical engineering know-how.

Responsibilities

• Follow QA programs and standards for electrical I&C engineering.
• Design and specify I&C systems, control logic, setpoints and wiring.
• Prepare technical documentation, specifications and calculations.
• Support drawing office with I&C drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Prepare requisitions for equipment and materials for procurement.
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers and other design disciplines.
• Provide technical guidance to designers and drafters.
• Perform field walk-downs and support construction/commissioning activities.
