Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Canada seeks a Senior Instrumentation and Controls engineer to design and develop I&C systems for a Candu project. You will define functional and performance requirements, control algorithms, and wiring arrangements, and generate associated documentation.

The role requires a strong engineering background, P.Eng. status, and extensive I&C experience, with nuclear project exposure considered an asset. Hybrid work and industry-leading benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Honours degree in engineering from a recognized university.
• P.Eng. in good standing is required.
• Minimum of 12 years of engineering experience.
• Nuclear I&C modernization experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Design I&C systems and control algorithms for Candu projects.
• Perform specification, sizing, and selection for I&C components and prepare related docs.
• Update I&C engineering design documents, including block diagrams and specifications.
• Provide input to drawings for instrument loop diagrams and wiring diagrams.
• Coordinate with suppliers and other engineering disciplines and respond to technical inquiries.
• Support site engineering teams and deliver technical presentations on progress.
• Manage assigned work, prioritizing tasks, schedules, and budgets to meet project goals.
