Job summary

MSP Corp is seeking a Project Technician – Tier 3 Network & Infrastructure Specialist to lead complex networking deployments across hybrid environments in London, ON. The role blends advanced networking with on‑prem server deployments, virtualization, and storage, including cloud integrations.

You will design and implement LAN/WAN, VPN, SD‑WAN, and firewall solutions, perform Tier 3 troubleshooting, and ensure security and compliance across client projects.

Qualifications

• College diploma or university degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• 5–7+ years of experience in project delivery within an MSP or enterprise IT environment.
• Strong hands‑on experience with enterprise networking, Windows Server, and on‑site deployments.
• Experience managing multiple client projects concurrently; strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of complex networking projects including new site builds, upgrades, and migrations.
• Design, configure, and deploy LAN/WAN, VPN, SD‑WAN, and firewall solutions (FortiGate, Cisco/Meraki, Palo Alto).
• Perform advanced Tier 3 troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis for escalated network issues.
• Ensure security best practices and compliance standards are met (segmentation, MFA, encryption, secure access).
• Deploy Windows Server environments including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, File & Print Services, RDS.
• Racking and cabling servers, storage, and networking gear; manage power, cooling and rack layouts.
• Deploy and configure hypervisors and virtualization platforms (VMware ESXi, Windows‑based platforms).
• Design and deploy servers and storage (NAS/SAN, Windows Server clustering).
• Participate in server refreshes, datacenter moves, and hybrid cloud integrations; collaborate with project managers and clients.
