Job summary

Activision Blizzard, Inc. is seeking a Senior Network Engineer for the Demonware Platform in Vancouver, BC. The role focuses on building scalable, low-latency network infrastructure and evolving it with code-driven automation.

You will work in a global team across Vancouver, Shanghai and Dublin, driving network projects, on-call rotations, and data-centre to cloud transitions while maintaining security and reliability.

Qualifications

• 8+ years practical data centre network experience in a global 24/7 environment.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, load balancers and firewalls.
• Automation mindset with network infrastructure as code (Ansible).
• Experience with BGP, NAT, VPN, VXLAN and EVPN.
• Familiarity with Linux, virtualization (KVM) and containers; Kubernetes networking.

Responsibilities

• Execute infrastructure projects across multiple teams.
• Troubleshoot and debug with cross-team collaboration.
• Provide network infra for virtualized/ containerized workloads.
• Operate data centre networking lifecycle and provisioning.
• Serve as escalation point for network and services.
