Job summary

Bevertec in Toronto is seeking a Senior .NET Full Stack Developer for a contract role, hybrid work, three days on site. You will contribute to enterprise software with .NET technologies and REST APIs.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of hands-on experience, strong Azure and SQL, and a track record in modernizing legacy apps. This contract starts immediately and runs through October 2027 on a hybrid schedule.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on enterprise software development with C#, .NET Core / ASP.NET Core and legacy .NET Framework.
• Strong REST API development, authentication/authorization, JWT and OAuth2
• Extensive Microsoft SQL Server / T-SQL development and performance tuning
• Hands-on Microsoft Azure experience – App Service, Azure SQL, Storage, Event Hub, ADX, Key Vault, Application Insights and Azure Monitor
• Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines and Git
• Strong experience with multithreading, asynchronous programming, scalability and performance optimization
• Experience with legacy application modernization, including WCF, Windows Services, Windows Forms, IIS and .NET Framework
• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, OOP, SDLC and Agile/Scrum
• Experience decomposing monolithic applications into modular services, APIs or microservices
• DDD, API-first and event-driven architecture
• HL7, FHIR and Mirth Connect
• AngularJS to Angular migration
• Automated testing, secure development and application monitoring
