Job Title : Senior .NET Developer (Core .NET, ASP.NET, C#)

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior .NET Developer with deep expertise in Core .NET, ASP.NET, and C# to join our growing remote development team in Canada. The ideal candidate is a self-driven professional with strong technical skills, capable of designing and delivering scalable software solutions that support our business objectives.

You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to build and maintain enterprise-grade web applications, APIs, and backend services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain secure and high-performing applications using Core .NET, ASP.NET, and C#
• Develop RESTful APIs and backend services to support web and mobile applications
• Write clean, scalable, testable, and well-documented code following modern development practices
• Collaborate with UI / UX designers, QA engineers, DevOps, and other developers in an Agile / Scrum environment
• Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications for performance and scalability
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to team knowledge sharing
• Stay up to date with the latest development tools, trends, and technologies

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on .NET Core, ASP.NET (MVC / Web API), and C#
• Proficiency in RESTful API development and integration
• Experience with SQL Server and writing optimized database queries and stored procedures
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and design patterns
• Familiarity with Git , CI / CD pipelines, and version control best practices
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Able to work independently in a fully remote setting

Nice to Have (Preferred)

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS
• Experience with Entity Framework Core , Docker, or containerization
