Job description

Cymax Group Technologies is a leading eCommerce technology and logistics services platform for big & bulky vendors and retailers. We partner with vendors and retailers to tackle some of the industry’s biggest challenges, offering prescriptive recommendations to optimize their ROI in a competitive market. Our remote-flexible team works to support our partners from the US and Canada.

The Role

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Software Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Azure, .NET technologies, SQL, and front-end development using Angular or React. This role will involve participation in the design, code review, and implementation of new product features, as well as assisting in diagnosing and troubleshooting issues.

This is a hybrid role, based in the Vancouver, BC area. The ideal candidate will work 1 to 2 days in the Vancouver office, with the flexibility to work remotely for the remainder of the week.

Your Responsibilities

• Participate in the design, code review, and implementation of new product features.
• Assist in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and solving incidents, bugs, and problems with the product.
• Write efficient, reusable, and reliable code following best practices and coding standards.
• Maintain version control using Git and ensure effective branch management strategies.
• Optimize application performance and scalability.
• Design and implement database schemas, queries, and stored procedures in SQL Server.
• Deploy applications to Azure cloud services and manage resources effectively.
• Stay updated with the latest technologies, trends, and best practices in software development.

You Bring

• Experienced in web application development utilizing C#, .NET, ASP.NET MVC/Core, and SQL Server.
• Experience with web services and REST API.
• Understanding of object-oriented design patterns.
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) is an asset.
• Experience in an Agile/SCRUM development environment.
• Experience with Azure, Web Jobs SDK, Azure Functions.
• Knowledgeable in using Git and related tools like GitHub, GitLab, etc.
• 3+ years of professional experience in software development using .NET technologies.
• Experience with AI tools like Copilot and generative AI models like ChatGPT or DALL-E.
• Experience with modern front-end libraries/frameworks like Angular or React is an asset.

Compensation

The Salary Range for this role is between $80,000 and $100,000, depending on experience. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location. We offer a comprehensive range of benefits which includes:
