Job summary

Versys is seeking a seasoned Medium Voltage Cable Termination Technician to join our elite team across the United States. You will terminate, splice, and test MV cables, ensuring safe energization of high voltage systems.

The ideal candidate has extensive substation experience, OSHA 10/30 and NFPA 70E training, and the ability to travel across the US as required. Competitive rates and career development await.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5+ years hands-on industrial electrical experience in medium voltage systems.
• Completion of a recognized electrical apprenticeship or MV training.
• Valid OSHA 10/30, NFPA 70E compliance or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, terminate, and splice shielded MV cables for 5kV–35kV systems.
• Connect cable ends to transformers, MCCs, RMUs, and switchgear.
• Perform pre-energization tests and Hi-Pot testing to ensure integrity.
• Troubleshoot terminations in harsh industrial environments.
• Adhere to LOTO procedures and safety standards.
