Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Drainage Design Engineer in Ontario to lead drainage and stormwater design for major infrastructure projects. You will guide hydraulic/hydrologic modeling, erosion control, and ensure regulatory compliance while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

You will mentor junior engineers, manage timelines and budgets, and deliver high-quality, sustainable drainage solutions across projects in our Mobility Global Business Area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; Master’s preferred.
• 8–10 years of experience in drainage design and stormwater management for infrastructure.projects
• P.Eng designation with PEO is required
• Proficiency in hydraulic and hydrologic modeling software and CAD/GIS tools
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of drainage and stormwater systems for infrastructure projects.
• Provide guidance in hydraulic/hydrologic modeling and erosion control.
• Manage timelines, budgets, and resources; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Perform field inspections and site assessments; prepare reports, drawings, and specs.
• Mentor junior engineers and staff.
