Job summary

Amynta Group is seeking a Senior Underwriter for MPL Individuals employed by Ambridge to manage professional liability placements and partnerships across North America. You will apply underwriting expertise, assess risk, and support broker relationships while delivering robust, thoughtful solutions and maintaining high service standards.

In this role you will review submissions with authority, monitor performance, and collaborate with claims and other teams to ensure favorable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience with Professional Liability underwriting.
• Industry license or designation desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain broker relationships to generate new business.
• Review, negotiate and accept or decline submitted business within authority.
• Adhere to underwriting standards, pricing, file maintenance and monitoring.
• Maintain account information and documentation in systems.
• Participate in industry events and department initiatives.
• Monitor portfolio and respond to deterioration or term breaches.
• Escalate material deteriorations to leadership.
