Job summary

BDO Canada is seeking a replacement Senior Consultant, Modern Workplace to join the Technology Consulting team in the Greater Toronto Area. You will lead Microsoft 365 and Copilot engagements, design AI-driven productivity solutions, and provide strategic guidance on adoption, implementation, and optimization.

You will engage with client stakeholders, gather requirements, and deliver governance frameworks, training, and user enablement to drive successful modern workplace outcomes.

Qualifications

• University Degree or College/CEGEP Diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Microsoft 365 consulting, implementation, or a related role.
• Excellent customer-facing, communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to lead workshops/requirements gathering sessions for modern workplace, content management, intranets, portals, and collaboration solutions.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform, Viva etc.).

Responsibilities

• Lead Microsoft 365 and Copilot engagements by assessing client needs and designing AI-driven productivity solutions.
• Deliver consulting services including readiness assessments, governance frameworks, user enablement strategies, training, and adoption.
• Interact with client stakeholders to become a trusted advisor throughout the project.
• Understand business strategy and objectives by studying the business function and gathering information.
• Elicit and document functional and non-functional requirements for services to meet business needs.
• Lead workshops to gain insights into end user and customer needs.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and architects to align on business requirements.
• Evangelize Microsoft 365, Copilot and other Microsoft products internally and with clients.
• Participate in pre-sales activities including demos, proposals and RFP responses.
• Contribute to strategic direction of the Modern Workplace practice.
