Job summary

Continental Technology Solutions in Richmond, BC, is seeking an experienced mobile software developer to join a dedicated product team. You will design and implement mobile apps, collaborate on UI decisions and ensure code quality from design through deployment.

You will work with iOS/Android platforms, .NET/C#, XML, HTML5, and Web Services, with Xamarin Studio as a plus, delivering robust software on a fast-paced schedule.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of development experience in a software product company.
• Experience with iOS and/or Android platforms.
• Development experience with .NET framework using C#, XML, HTML5 and Web Services.
• Experience with Xamarin Studio would be an asset.
• Experience designing and implementing mobile applications with UI.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Solid understanding of SDLC and object-oriented development.
• Team player and able to work independently under deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.

Job Description

• 5+ years’ of development experience in a software product company, plus a degree in Computer Science/Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience with iOS and/or Android platform
• Development experience with .NET framework using C#, XML, HTML5 and Web Services
• Experience with Xamarin Studio would be an asset
• Experience successfully designing and implementing mobile applications with aesthetic and functional UI
• Strong analytical skills, problem solving ability, and attention to detail
• A solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and object-oriented development
• A team player as well as able to work independently with minimal supervision and under tight deadlines
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
