Job summary

Continental Technology Solutions is a consulting and managed services firm delivering end-to-end IT solutions. You will understand business requirements, study existing programs, and contribute to design, development, testing, and CI processes in an enterprise Java environment.

This role emphasizes strong OO design patterns, hands-on with Maven, and working in an Agile SDLC, with focus on performance tuning and integration patterns.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years hands-on experience in Java/J2EE technologies, including Servlets, JSP, JSF, Spring, EJB, Web Services, JMS.
• Experience with Oracle DB and WebLogic is a must.
• SDLC experience with Agile environment preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Unix commands.
• Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Job Description

• Understand the business area and user requirements
• Study and understand the existing programs
• Performing program design, coding and Development
• Performing unit and integration testing

• Unified Development environment (Developers systems as well as servers)
• Continuous Integrations Building/maintaining
• Providing guidelines to the development team.
• Should have experience in clear case, SVN
• Strong competency in design OO pattern and enterprise integration patterns.
• Hands on with performance management and tuning.
• Hands on with Maven tool.

Job Skills (a few bullets stating required skills:

• At least 8 - 10 years hands-on experience in the Java ,J2EE Technologies. Including (Servlets, JSP, JSF, Spring , EJB, Web Services, JMS).
• Experience working in RDBMS(Oracle) and Weblogic is a must
• Working experience at least in Full Software Development Life Cycle(SDLC) project is required, experience working in an Agile environment is preferred.

• Good Communication, Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills.
