Job summary

RBC Borealis is seeking an experienced Machine Learning Platform Engineer to design and implement ML infrastructure and automation tools. You will work with researchers and engineers, shaping data pipelines and deployment practices for enterprise ML.

The role involves building scalable, hybrid cloud/on‑prem systems and improving MLOps workflows, enabling faster experimentation and production readiness.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing and implementing distributed systems and ML systems.
• Experience building and maintaining DevOps pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on with MLOps orchestration tools (AirFlow, KubeFlow, Dagster, Flyte).
• Strong programming skills in Python, Bash, or JavaScript; UNIX proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize ML deployment tools and automation systems.
• Define best practices for data and ML pipelines across the organization.
• Collaborate with engineers and researchers to automate code analysis, build, and deployment of ML apps.
• Support infra design decisions and monitoring solutions for applications and projects.
• Build scalable, resilient cloud and on-premise systems for hosting ML pipelines.
