The role emphasizes Python-based development, team leadership across the full project lifecycle, and collaboration with both research and product teams to bring ML products to production.

Qualifications

• Experience building modular, robust ML/data software systems in Python or similar.
• Experience leading a team through full project lifecycle.
• Exposure to distributed computing and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices across SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Build cutting edge ML solutions from research to production.
• Plan work and lead a team of software engineers to deliver ML products.
• Design and develop Borealis' ML products with cross-team collaboration.
• Partner with research and product teams to ensure seamless delivery of those products.
• Apply engineering and data best practices to create robust, scalable ML software systems.
• Provide thorough documentation and technical advisory for projects.
