Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in mining engineering or a related field.
- Registered Professional Engineer in Ontario (PEO) in good standing or eligible for membership.
- 7+ years in mine engineering in an open pit environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation of Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and LOM Plans.
- Forecast and evaluate costs and mine planning data.
- Provide technical direction for operations strategy and implementation.
- Review and implement operational plans and design changes.
- Mentor EITs and junior engineers to meet long-range planning objectives.
- Prepare cost and performance reports to support planning results.
