Job summary
MDOS Consulting is seeking a Senior Telecommunications System Specialist for client engagements in Ottawa, ON. The role requires bilingual English/French abilities, Top Secret/NATO Secret clearance, and on-site work at the David Florida Lab with potential travel to other DND facilities and abroad.
The candidate should have a post-secondary degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, hands-on Link 16 experience, TD gateways, multiple military protocols, and cryptographic capability.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
- Experience with military data links incl. planning, setup and operation of Link 16 radios.
- Experience with two TD gateways: HUNTR, GTS, CSI, or JRE.
- Experience with three military message protocols: VMF, Link 16, CoT, JREAP.
- Experience with cryptographic equipment and crypto key management.
- R&D experience with Link 16 radios and multiple protocols is preferred.
- Experience documenting and managing TDL technical requirements.
