Job summary

Apex Group in Mississauga is seeking an experienced Middle Office/Trade Support professional to join our fixed income, FX, and derivatives desk. You will help manage trade capture, settlements, and risk reporting while collaborating with portfolio managers and custodians.

The role involves day-to-day reconciliation, issue resolution, and ensuring accuracy in high-volume operations. Four days in the office, Canada-based, with a discretionary annual bonus aligned to performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Economics; CFA preferred.
• 4+ years in middle office/ops or trade support; strong on equity, fixed income, derivatives.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute trade capture across fixed income, FX, money market, and futures.
• Support automated trade processing on high-volume OTC bond desk.
• Ensure timely settlements and coordinate securities and cash movements.
• Liaise with portfolio managers, brokers, custodians to resolve issues.
• Assist with daily risk reporting and client/monthly reporting.
