The role blends independent work with team leadership in a retail environment, focusing on luxury garments and precise fit. You will operate industrial machines and mentor staff to uphold premium standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience leading a team of tailors or alterationists.
• 2-3+ years using and maintaining industrial sewing machines and pressers.
• Proven tailoring of luxury menswear garments (jackets, pants, shirts).
• Strong attention to detail, quality workmanship, and time management.
• Ability to work independently and in a retail team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of tailors to meet productivity and quality targets.
• Perform alterations on jackets, pants, shirts and other menswear.
• Operate and maintain industrial sewing machines and pressing equipment.
• Manage workflow and deadlines to meet customer delivery expectations.
• Provide exceptional service to build loyalty and satisfaction.
