Job summary

Brobston Group LLC in Vancouver, Canada, is seeking a Tailorshop Supervisor to oversee daily tailoring operations in a retail environment. You will lead and schedule tailoring associates, ensure high-quality alterations, timely delivery, and safe shop practices.

You will manage workload, rush orders, and equipment, driving process improvements to meet store goals and deliver excellent customer service, with a focus on luxury menswear alterations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years leading a team of tailors/alterationists.
• Proven expertise in altering luxury menswear garments.
• 2-3+ years experience using and maintaining industrial sewing machines and pressers.
• Strong organizational and customer service orientation; able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee tailoring operations to ensure finished garments meet quality and timing standards.
• Alter garments according to fitter marks and complete special request services.
• Schedule and lead Tailoring Associates, manage shop capacity and workload distribution.
• Manage rush orders and administrative tasks to ensure smooth shop operation.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and fully supplied work area and clean equipment after use.
• Promote positive working relationships and respect team skill levels.
